Thirty-eight submissions were narrowed down to eighteen finalists after judges viewed images of all entries. Importers of fine jewelry from China, including loose pearls and pearl jewelry, are subject to increased tariffs of 15 percent as of Sept. 1, according to President Trump and office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR).
